BOXING/KICKBOXING: Classes offered for Adults ages 15 – 100 years old

Taught by former world champion Jim Smothers, Boxing is one of the oldest, and probably the most widely known competitive combat sport. The training regimens employed by boxers are some of the most physically and mentally demanding workouts around. Need proof? Just take a look at the physique of any skilled boxer.

You will learn all of the in and outs of this amazing style including basic punching skills such as Jab, Cross, hooks and Uppercuts. You will learn how to properly apply these techniques for self defense applications in addition to fitness. Footwork, body positioning as well as timing and rhythm are also taught.

A typical class begins with basic warm-ups and Jump Rope followed by strength work and partner drills. Focus mitt work as well as Heavy bag work also included.

This class is great for those on all levels, This is NOT a fighting class. This is a kick butt workout designed to teach you real world boxing/kick boxing skills in a fun, safe environment

We do offer special training session for individuals seeking to spar and train to fight for sport in the boxing and MMA realm.
